Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions outline the commitments between AplusTutor Service and tutors (including home tutors, school teachers, coaching institute teachers, yoga and meditation instructors, music teachers, and other professionals providing tutoring services).

1. Service Scope

  • 1.1 AplusTutor Service is an online platform that facilitates tutoring opportunities by connecting tutors with students based on their expertise and interests.
  • 1.2 Tutors may be engaged for home tuition, coaching institutes, full-time teaching jobs, and other specialized subjects.

2. Registration and Verification Fees

  • 2.1 Registration is free; however, a ₹199 verification fee applies to home tutors, hobby tutors, and part-time teaching job applicants.
  • 2.2 No verification fee is charged for tutors applying for full-time teaching jobs in schools and colleges.
  • 2.3 If no tuition opportunity (including a trial class) is offered within 40 days, the verification fee will be refunded upon request.

3. Payment and Commission Structure

  • 3.1 First-month payment collection:
    • AplusTutor Service will collect the first month’s fee from parents on behalf of the tutor.
    • Tutors must not collect payment directly from parents for the first month.
    • All tax liabilities on this payment rest with the tutor.
  • 3.2 Commission deductions from the first-month payment:
    • Home Tuition (ongoing): 50% commission.
    • Short-term Home Tuition (≤2 months): 25% commission.
    • Coaching Jobs: 50% commission.
  • 3.3 From the second month onward, tutors will receive payments directly from parents.

4. Lead Purchase and Additional Opportunities

  • 4.1 Tutors can purchase up to three additional leads for ₹500 to increase their chances of securing tutoring assignments.
  • 4.2 Fees paid for leads or special offers are non-refundable once the payment is made.
  • 4.3 Tutors may be offered personalized discounts, promotional deals, or incentives through company representatives.

5. Home Tuition Commitments

  • 5.1 Tutors must provide one free trial class at the student’s location.
  • 5.2 Tutors must carry a valid government-issued ID (excluding PAN cards) during the trial class.
  • 5.3 If the tuition continues after the trial, AplusTutor Service will notify the tutor.
  • 5.4 At the end of the first month, tutors will receive the remaining 50% of their payment from the client.

6. Tuition Payment Terms

  • 6.1 Tuition fees will be based on the number of classes conducted at the student’s location.
  • 6.2 Tutors can start collecting fees directly from the second month onward.
  • 6.3 Tutors must inform AplusTutor Service at least one week in advance before discontinuing tuition.

7. Tutor Responsibilities and Conduct

  • 7.1 Tutors must not abandon tuition during a student’s exam period.
  • 7.2 In case of long-term absences, tutors must notify AplusTutor Service in advance to allow for replacement arrangements.
  • 7.3 Tutors will be paid only for the classes they have conducted, except for the free trial class.
  • 7.4 The relationship between AplusTutor Service and tutors does not constitute an employer-employee relationship.
  • 7.5 Tutors are responsible for deciding whether to accept a tutoring assignment.
  • 7.6 Tutors must only teach when at least one parent/guardian is present in the house. AplusTutor Service is not responsible for any accidents or incidents at the student’s premises.

8. Document Submission and Verification

  • 8.1 Tutors confirm that all submitted documents and personal details are authentic and belong to them.
  • 8.2 AplusTutor Service reserves the right to share tutor details with clients for verification purposes or legal proceedings if required.

By registering with AplusTutor Service, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. The Company reserves the right to modify these terms as necessary.
